Good afternoon, Greenville.

October's here. Oktoberfests, fall festivities, and five hikes showing off fall color are all on this week's lineup.

Let’s get into it.

FOOD & DRINK

A Taste of the Republic of Georgia in Greenville

Price range: $16-$27

Keipi is a nonprofit restaurant serving family-style dishes from the Republic of Georgia. It’s built around the supra, a traditional Georgian feast where a tamada leads the table through a series of toasts between courses, with wine and conversation throughout.

Here's what people keep coming back for:

Friday Community Supra: Five courses with imported Georgian wine and cocktails, served at one long table of friends and strangers. Seating is capped at 25, and tickets sell out.

Adjaruli Khachapuri: The signature bread boat, filled with cheese, butter, and egg yolk. Other versions add bacon, brie, and fig jam, or meat with pomegranate.

Georgian Wine Tastings: Select Wednesday evenings with a tamada, light food pairings, and live music. The next one is October 7, 6–8 PM.
