A New Destination for Dining at Greenville Downtown Airport
Hangar 28 fills the Runway Cafe spot at Greenville Downtown Airport with a full-service restaurant for families, pilots, and diners seeking good food in a unique setting. Founders Lauren Good and Trish Ballentine transformed the space, with an opening set for end of June to early July.
What to expect:
Ballentine's Parmesan-crusted pita melt sandwiches, plus a full menu spanning salads, personal pizzas, scratch-made deli sandwiches, burgers, and shareable plates paired with a full bar of craft beers, wines, and seasonal cocktails.
The newly redesigned space with its new 16-foot mechanical door that now offers a magnificent view of the airport runway, whether open or closed—transforming a typical airport cafe into a fun destination.

Vivian is a sweet, affectionate girl who greets you politely with all four paws on the floor before warming up into a snuggly companion. She may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for her loving personality to shine.

Great Scot Parade | Downtown Greenville
Friday | 6 PM
Pipe bands, marching clans, Scottish Chiefs, and costumed entries fill downtown for Greenville's biggest Scottish celebration yet. The Joint Military Salute features uniformed officers from the U.S. and Scotland, while floats, Braveheart performers, axe-throwers, and longbow archers line the route.
Scottish Games follow on Saturday with heavy athletics, piping competitions, Celtic music, vendors, and food.

About 30 minutes north of Charlotte (near Mooresville, NC)
Carrigan Farms is a fifth-generation family-owned destination where you can pick your own strawberries straight from the field or dive into The Quarry, a natural, spring-fed swimming hole within an old limestone quarry. The farm offers attractions year-round.
The Quarry opens seasonally for swimming and sits just a few miles from Lake Norman. The on-site restaurant serves farm-fresh fare: grilled burgers, pizzas, salads, and ice cream.
