A longtime fixture in the Greenville food scene, Pita House serves some of the city's most authentic Middle Eastern cooking. The vibe is warm, the service quick, and the owner has been known to help with parking when the lot fills up.

Here's what people keep coming back for:

  • Stuffed vegetables and kibbeh, made with care

  • Gyros and chicken shawarma for a satisfying handheld option

  • Grape leaves and tahini salad, balanced and refreshing

A grocery counter stocked with Middle Eastern spices, sweets, and pantry staples.

COMMUNITY CORNER

Greenville Crosses 80K

Greenville's growth just hit a new milestone, but the numbers show the surge extends well beyond the city limits.

Past the 80K Mark: Greenville's population climbed about 2% over the past year, pushing the city past 80,000 residents for the first time on record.

Metro Tops One Million: The Greenville-Anderson-Greer metro area now counts an estimated 1,014,101 residents, up 9.3% since 2020.

🎬 FEATURED EVENTS

Greenville Insider’s First Dinner Club

Making new friends isn't always easy. Life gets busy, routines settle in, and meeting new people can start to feel harder than it should.

That's exactly why we created the Greenville Insider Dinner Club.

Each dinner brings together six people at one table, matched through a short quiz so you're not walking in blind. And by attending, it also helps support local restaurants.

A few things that make this one of a kind:

  • Curated groups based on shared interests

  • Small tables that make conversation easy

  • Support for local restaurants and the local economy

  • An optional bar meetup after, where guests from all tables can gather

If you're thinking about joining, don't wait too long — we need time to book reservations and make it easy for the restaurants hosting us.

GET OUT OF TOWN

Off the Grid and Up a Tree in North Georgia

About 4 hours from Greenville, just outside Ringgold, Georgia.

Selah Ridge sits on 16 private acres in the Appalachian foothills. Its treehouses have become one of the most talked-about escapes in North Georgia. The property's original Treehouse opens up with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that fold away completely, putting guests right in the tree canopy with birdsong and mountain views as the backdrop.

Newer builds have expanded the resort's options. The Shiloh, built into the hillside like a rustic hobbit house, pairs a stone fireplace wall with flagstone floors and heavy timber doors. Every stay includes a private outdoor shower and soaking tub, and owners April and Daniel keep things easy from booking through checkout.

The privacy is total, the distractions are gone, and the pace forces you to slow down. This is one of those special occasion stays — the kind that stays with you long after you've left.

Don't miss: the arched bridge connecting the Treehouse to its cedar hot tub, tucked above a running waterfall.

Good to know: minimum one-night stays, rates start around $450/night, and each accommodation (Treehouse, Shiloh, Lookout Tower) books separately.
